Pastor Gracie is eager to join in ministry alongside the people of St. Paul UMC. Originally born in Chattanooga, TN, and a lifelong United Methodist, she is passionate about helping cultivate loving and welcoming church spaces for all people. She graduated from Carson-Newman University in 2018 with a Bachelor's degree in Religion and a minor in music, and later attended Candler School of Theology at Emory University, earning her Master's of Divinity in 2021.
She has served in the Holston Conference since 2020 and was ordained as an elder in full connection in June 2025. In her free time, Pastor Gracie enjoys singing, watching musicals and movies, and taking walks in the neighborhood with her husband Sean. Pastor Gracie and Sean were recently married in December of 2025. Both Sean and Gracie, along with their cat, Dunkin', are excited about this new chapter of ministry in Wytheville.

He and his wife are raising their two daughters and loving every minute of family life. When he’s not at church, he’s probably watching sports, especially the Carolina Panthers or the Washington Nationals.

Leslie received her Bachelor of Music degree from Radford University and studied voice with Professor Clarity James. She is also a music teacher and choir director at Spiller Elementary School and sings in the Wythe County Community College Choir.

David Dickens serves as the Sonlight Service Coordinator at St. Paul United Methodist Church, where he enjoys helping create meaningful worship experiences that bring people together andstrengthen their connection with God. David has a long-standing passion for worship, ministry, and Christian service, including many years of involvement
David Dickens serves as the Sonlight Service Coordinator at St. Paul United Methodist Church, where he enjoys helping create meaningful worship experiences that bring people together andstrengthen their connection with God. David has a long-standing passion for worship, ministry, and Christian service, including many years of involvement with Camp Dickenson, where he now serves on the Board of Directors. His connection to Camp Dickenson began as a summer counselor and resource staff member, leading worship, Bible studies, and activities for campers.
David serves as Vice President of Finance and Administrative Services at Wytheville Community College, where he has built a career in higher education spanning more than 16 years. He is also an adjunct faculty member and enjoys opportunities to teach, mentor, and encourage others.
Outside of work and ministry, David most enjoys spending time with his wife and their three children. He is grateful for the opportunity to serve St. Paul and looks forward to helping the church continue to be a welcoming and meaningful place for worship and community.
